Seal 6 Part 3 (Rev. 7:9-17)

Rev 7:9

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

It seems that our LORD gives John a vision of hope within a time of persecution. We got to finish this race in holiness with the Spirit of God upon us. This is what takes place at the 7th. Trumpet during the Great Harvest. This also shows all the souls that have come through the whole Church age.
When our LORD open the Seals of each one, they do last throughout the church age. Even when the Trumpets are blown, the Seals are still going on and will go on until the Rapture of the church at the 7th. Trumpet.

After this -
After I saw these things means, I had another vision, after the sealing of the hundred and forty-four thousand. It is not stated when this happens and if you read ahead to chapter 14 you will see that the 144,000 join Jesus. Then you will see in verse 14 the reaping of the earth.

Lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues -
John was seeing the events on the earth but now he viewing an event in heaven...
This is during the time of the 7th. Trump that John is seeing this vision.

A great multitude, which no man could number -
God told Abraham this:
Genesis 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

This has to be after the sealing of Gods people because the events take place on earth is the persecution of the Saints in the 1-5 seals. These events that take place in the seals do continue throughout the history of the church.
He is seeing those that had been persecuted in the church age, along with all the Saints of the Old Testament. Jesus went into the belly of the earth for all in Hades to receive His gift of the eternal seed. (1Peter 3:18-19, Rev 1:18) then rescue the Old Testament Saints from the place of Abraham Bosom. Luke 16:22-23, Then Took Them To Paradise Luke 23:43, 2Cor 12:4, Rev 2:7.

Stood before the throne, and before the Lamb -
Revelation 4:6
And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

Clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands -

White - A symbol of purity (2 Chr. 5:12; Ps. 51:7; Isa. 1:18; Rev. 3:18;). Our Lord, at his transfiguration, appeared in raiment "white as the light" Matt. 17:2.

Robes - The robes of Aaron symbolized the dignity and glory of our great high priest, “the heir of the whole creation”
The spiritual bodies of the risen righteous were described as "Garments of Glory"

Palms - Branches of the palm tree were carried at the feast of Tabernacles (Lev. 23:40). At our Lord's triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, the crowds took palm branches and went forth to meet him, crying, "Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord" (Matt. 21:8; John 12:13).

The palm-branches in their hands are emblems of victory.

The first time that Jesus lets them call Him King.
John 12:13
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

For these saints, there will be no battle over their soul. (PRAISE GOD)

Rev 7:10

And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

loud voice - This is a sign for all to hear the honor that they bring for all to see and hear.
Throughout the Word it is always for all around to take notice.

Salvation to our God - This is for the honor of God for the saving grace that He has given to His people. To let God know that He is the only God for them.

Sitteth upon the throne - We as kingdom people need to bring honor to the position of our God as the only creator and is the most High.

Unto the Lamb - To tell the God Head that salvation is through the Lamb that brings us into the presence of the Throne so we can bring everything before God.

The acknowledgment that their salvation—the salvation which they now taste—is due not to themselves, but to their God and to the Lamb. The salvation here is from the curse of the law, from the power of sin, and from the perils of life.

Victory, in a Christian sense, deliverance from punishment and admission to eternal life. Here the idea seems to be that their deliverance from sin, danger, persecution, and death, was to be ascribed solely to God.

Rev 7:11

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God,

All the angels stood round about the throne - Spirits, made by Christ, and worshipers of Him, and ministering spirits to Him and His, the holy and elect angels, who are confirmed in their state by Christ; these John beheld in a visionary way, how many there are, or were here, cannot be said; we read of a multitude of heavenly host that appeared at the incarnation of Christ, and of more than twelve legions of angels, that Christ could have had of his Father for a word speaking, at the time of his apprehension, who would have rescued him out of the hands of his enemies; yea, that company is innumerable.
Yet our Lord Jesus went through a most horrible death just for us. He is God and He did this for us to be able to join Him in His Glory... I'm so humble at this, that my God would save me from the second death and hell...

The elders and the four beasts -
Rev. 4:4
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

Elders -
Old Testament - The elders served as local magistrates.
New testament - Persons appointed to hold office in the Christian church, and to exercise spiritual oversight over the flock entrusted to them.

Four Beast -
Each living creature had four faces: the first was the face of a man, which speaks of 'intelligence;' the second the face of a lion, which symbolizes 'strength.' the third the face of an ox, representing 'patient endurance;' and the fourth the face of an eagle, which implies 'swiftness of execution.' All show perfect organization for carrying out the government of God according to His righteous judgment.
Ezek. 1:5-25; Ezek. 3:13; Ezek. 10:15-22, Rev. 4:8

Worshiped God - by celebrating the perfections of his nature, and ascribing to him the glory of all his works.

Rev 7:12

Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

Amen - Our Lord is called "the Amen, the faithful and true Witness,"
It means: certainly, truly, surely.
It is used at the beginning of a sentence by Jesus: Verily, verily.
At the end of hymns and prayers; as "Amen and Amen," so it is, so be it, let it be done. In oaths, all those who pronounce the Amen, bind themselves by the oath.

Blessing - A solemn prophetic benediction, in which happiness is desired, invoked or foretold.

Glory - To praise; to magnify and honor in worship; to ascribe honor to, in thought or words.

Wisdom - The right use or exercise of knowledge; the choice of commendable ends, and of the best means to accomplish them.

Thanksgiving - The act of rendering thanks or expressing gratitude for favors or mercies.

Honor - A testimony of esteem; any expression of respect or of high estimation by words or actions; as the honors of war; military honors; funeral honors; civil honors.

Power - The faculty of doing or performing anything; the faculty of moving or of producing a change in something; ability or strength.

Might - Strength; force; power; primarily and chiefly, bodily strength or physical power; as, to work or strive with all one's might.
All nations, every race, and all angels were and are giving a complete praise to our God for making the way for a man to be saved from eternal death.

Rev 7:13

And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

The elder asked the question, for John surely had to have a look of ah. The elders only spoke here and Rev 5:5 the first time was to point to the Lamb as being worthy and here to let John know the Hope for the Church that they will be before the Throne with their white robe of Glory on them. To make it through the suffering during their tribulation.

Rev 7:14

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest -
It is for you to tell me: your knowledge and your viewpoint is higher than mine; you know: it is for you to speak, and for me to listen.

These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. -
This is the Wrath of God, the 7 Vials that starts at Revelation 15 the Great Tribulation which those must encounter who are on the side of Christ, those that refuse to receive the mark of the beast and his worldliness and sin on their heart, conscience, and life. In all ages, it is true that we must go through much tribulation to enter the Kingdom of God, and the vision here is sure of those who will come safely out of Gods Wrath. There is only one Great Tribulation that is spoken of in the Word of God. All the other tribulation that Christians go through are of the devil's doing because he will do anything to get us off track with the LORD.

In America, we don't see tribulation as they do in other countries. But if you do a little research you will see tribulation that our brothers and sisters go through.  We need to pray and help in any way we can for the people of the Kingdom of our LORD that they have all the resources they need...

We also need to realize that Gods servants have been persecuted since Cain slew Abel and will continue until the return of our Lord Jesus.

Rev 7:15

Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

They finished the race and have overcome the world.

Rev 7:16

They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

When Jesus said on the Cross "It Is Finished" This is what it must be like for these saints.

No more hunger - They all must be full with the heavenly manna, the Bread of Life,

No more Thirst - The River of Life is flowing from the Throne for all to drink, Oh to drink from the Spirit that gives unspeakable joy.

No need for the Sun Light - For His Glory will shine upon everything, the Light that gives Life to those it shines on.

No burden of Heat - Your energy will be a never-ending supply, you will not have to take a break from the sun.

Our day is soon, just over the horizon, all the signs are here, we can taste His goodness, everyone is on the edge of the seats. We live in a time of glory my Brothers and Sisters, stay strong within the Lord. Let us keep the Good fight of Faith. Let us keep everybody in Prayer. Keep your eye's on Jesus, our Rock our Salvation, Our Deliver.
Oh, Jesus be our Sheppard and not let any of us go astray. Keep the Spirit of Your Glory flowing through us at all times, help us keep peace with everyone and to share Your Love as a witness with the world to see your Goodness.

Rev 7:17

For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

This sounds a lot like the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:9
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 2:10
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

Lamb - Tree of Life
Midst of the Throne - Midst of the Garden
He shall feed them - Good for Food - Bread of Life
Living fountains of Water - River out of Eden for the Garden Food
God shall wipe away all tears - Adam had no sin, therefore, no sadness

They enter into rest

Isaiah 25:8
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
Isaiah 49:10
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

John 3:15
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
